the school .
Bloor’s Academy for Gifted Children is a boarding school in England. It is specifically for children gifted in music, drama, and the arts. However, there are also other children there with talents of a more magical nature.
Children may be enrolled at Bloor’s as young as age 8 and are considered “junior” students until they are age eleven, in which they become known as a first year and become a regular student at bloors. Younger students have never been common at the school, unless of course it was an Endowed child in which the Bloor's brought into their grasps.
Each department—music, drama, and art—has its own dormitories and cafeterias. Each is represented by a color: blue for music, purple for drama, and green for art. Students wear capes the color of their department to distinguish them as musicians, artists, or actors.
Students spend the mornings, until ten o’clock, in their respective departments having classes related to their department. Afterwards they proceed to normal classes. Lunch is served at noon, followed by a half an hour break. Classes continue until dinner is served at six.
At eight, study time is finished, and students are free until lights out at nine o’clock.
The students return home for the weekends, being transported home on blue, green, and purple buses Friday evening. They are picked up again Monday morning, and live at the school during the week.
